The arch insert on our new adjustable insole is attached by a large piece of Velcro and can be moved around to line up with your foot’s arch for a better fit. The goal is to find a position that is comfortable. You will need to play around with the positioning for each foot, and this might take a few days to figure out. But once you determine the optimal position, you will feel great support and comfort.
The Carbon Fiber Arch:
The arch is reinforced with carbon fiber to give you the support your regular insoles cannot provide. The carbon fiber is not too stiff though, and provides springy support with good rebound. The benefit of having a carbon fiber arch is that it lessens the chance of your foot rotating inside the shoe or having collapsed arches.
Since the arch has some flexibility, and combined with the mold-ability of the insole foam, we do not make different height arches. We consider the arch to be medium height, but with the flexibility of the arch and the mold-ability of the insole, it will fit people with a low arch.
The ever-important metatarsal pad is integrated together with the carbon fiber arch to help spread apart your transverse arch, and lessens hot spots from the inter-digital nerves rubbing together.
We use a special lightweight yet firm foam that molds to your foot shape over time, to give you a near custom fit. The longer you use the insoles, the better they fit because the foam compresses to match your foot shape. This process does not happen quickly, and could take a week or two. The foam is firm, so that it will not collapse easily under your weight.
Our insoles are slim, but when you first try them, they might feel a bit snug depending on how small your shoe is. However, after a week or so, they will start to take the shape of your foot and fit much better. You can speed up the molding process by wearing the insoles in your daily walking/running shoes (but cut them to match the shoe you intend to use them- for example if you want to use them in your cycling shoes, cut them to match your cycling shoe insole before sticking them into your running shoes to mold them for a couple days). Also, do not heat the insoles up- they are not heat moldable.
Our insoles do not have any heel lift or toe spring because we want the insole to mold to your real foot shape uninhibited. The insoles are also well ventilated to let hot air escape and cool air come in and drain water quickly.
Out of the box, the insoles will appear flat (except for the arch). Once you start using them, the foam will start molding to your foot shape. After about a week or so, they will have already started taking shape. See a before and after example picture below but remember your insoles might not mold in the same way as the pictures below. The Molding shape is based on several factors like your unique foot shape and your shoe shape.
How To Trim The Insole To Fit:
1. Remove the carbon fiber arch from the EVA insole (so the EVA rests flat on a table).
2. Place the original shoe insole over the top of the EVA insole.
3. Line up the arch side of your original insole and the EVA insole. (Do not cut the Velcro side).
4. Use a pen or marker and trace your original insole onto the EVA insole. Your trace line should be along the outer edge.
5. Remove the original insole and cut along the trace line (which should be along the outer edge (lateral side) of the EVA insole.
Insole Basic Spec (Beta Version):
Insole material = 3mm Moldable EVA (thickness varies +/-0.4mm).

Weight = approx. 50g/pair pre-trimmed
5 sizes available = XL, L, M, S, XS (need to be cut to match shape of your original insole)
Time to mold varies from person to person, and shoe to shoe, but generally a few weeks with regular use.
What to expect with our Beta version insoles:
We have now launched the Beta version of our insoles. This means that although the function works great, and the product is very durable and high quality, there might be some occasional minor cosmetic blemishes such as not perfectly straight stitching lines or some visible glue etc. (nothing that inhibits the function of the insole however). As we refine our production process, any potential cosmetic blemish will be greatly reduced. Our goal is to launch our insoles with this Beta version and get as much feedback from customers as possible, and therefore further refine our design. As we refine each design the price will rise. We might make very minor tweaks as well and not give them a version name (like modifying the vent hole configuration).
Since this is a Beta version, there are no refunds, returns or exchanges. The Beta version works great, so you do not need to worry, but we need to make this clear anyway.
We will ship to the address you provide. You are responsible for the following things (so please do not blame us if you miss any of these things):
-You or someone else needs to be home when the package arrives.
-You need to give us the full shipping address and contact info. If you do not give the full address (such as not providing a floor number) and your front desk attendant cannot accept the package, you will probably not get the package.
-If you are shipping to some kind of front desk and you do not notify them that the package is coming, it’s your responsibility.
-Pick up the phone when/ if your local courier calls you about the package. If you miss the call, that is your responsibility.
-If you ordered the wrong size, you will need to place a new order or make due with what you have received.
-Some countries may on occasion require a copy of your ID. We do not know why, and this has nothing to do with our company. You will need to provide that copy to us, and we pass it to the shipping company, and they pass it to your country’s customs.
Additionally please note the following things when using your insoles:
-Do not bend the arch with your hands etc or bend them in ways they are not intended to be used. The arch is not indestructible, so you can break it.
-Do not machine wash or dry the insole or arch
-Do not iron the arch or insole
-Do not put arch or insole inside an oven, microwave, toaster or under a hair dryer or heat gun.
-Do not heat the arch or insole up (you will damage it if you try to heat it up)
-If they get wet, let them air dry in a breezy place.
-Do not leave them in direct sunlight for a long time
-The insoles probably will not smell, but that depends on many factors like your shoes, how you maintain the insoles etc.
-Sometimes the EVA smells out of the box, that is normal for new EVA foam and it will eventually go away.
